# Granting Access to Veeva Support

When you need assistance from Veeva Support, it can be useful for them to see your Vault from your users' perspective. This feature allows an Admin to grant access to a Vault, through a specific user's account, for a set period of time. In PromoMats Vaults, it's also possible to enable this option for all users.

## How to Grant Access

To grant access to a specific user's Vault account:

  1. Navigate to **Admin > Users & Groups > Vault Users** and click on the user.
  2. In the **Veeva Support** section, select an access duration from the drop-down and click **Grant Access**.
  3. If you need to withdraw access or change the access duration, you can do so by clicking **Revoke Access** or **Change Expiration** at any time.

## Duration Options

You can select one of the following duration options:

  * 4 hours
  * 1 day
  * 2 days
  * 7 days
  * 30 days

## Related Permissions

To grant Veeva Vault Support access, you must have a security profile with the _Users: Grant Support Login_ permission.

To enable this option for all users in a PromoMats Vault, turn on the **Show "Grant Access to Veeva Support" on User Profile** setting in **Admin > Settings > Application Settings**. Once enabled, the option appears in the **User Profile** page.

## Audit Trail Tracking

Any actions performed by someone from Veeva Vault Support are logged in the audit trail and marked as Veeva Support. Vault attributes them to "Veeva Support on behalf of [user name]."
